Sea Sights LLC, which is the parent company of Odysea, started its operations in 2001. It was in the same year, that the construction work for Odysea was started. The store – Odysea – is situated in the premises of Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut.

The casino created by the Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut in 1996, is a legendary gaming and entertainment destination. Renowned for exceptional service, hospitality and excitement, Mohegan Sun offers some of the region's finest dining, hotel accommodations, live entertainment and retail shopping.

Featuring an extraordinary Mohegan-themed design unlike any other in the industry, Mohegan Sun is one of the most unique casinos in the world . On September 25th, 2000, Mohegan Sun evolved even further to become one of the world's most amazing destinations. It now hosts 300,000 square feet of gaming excitement, including games such as Baccarat, Blackjack, Craps and Caribbean Stud Poker.

The compelling environment of Odysea, the theme-based specialty store, showcases the fascinating underwater world in all its glory. Exhibits and displays the wonders of the deep seas, while clothing, decorative accessories, educational games, books and more encourage the visitors to explore all facets of marine life. Apart from the retail outlet in the casino premises, there is a support warehouse a short distance away form the casino. The corporate head office is based in Arizona. The sister concern Simply Artrageous dealing in the largest international collection of art and home accents, has been opened in Scottsdale, Arizona, in 2003.

Odysea of Sea Sights LLC is a marine theme retail store company that capitalizes on a man's fascination with the underwater life.

The OdySea, a 9000 sq ft store, started its commercial operations in January 2002. The store décor is a theme décor with huge aquariums as the centerpiece. The store is positioned as an up market exclusive store selling home accessories and art. These items are sourced from all over the world and are very exclusive in nature. The exclusiveness of the items, coupled with the Marine theme lend a memorable shopping experience.

The store's main focus is exclusive mid market home accessories and art. A non-exhaustive list of items in these categories is:
